1st day
Arrival in Krakow. Check-in the hostel/student hotel.
Dinner
2nd day
morning Visiting the Krakow old town with the Wawel Hill. Entering the Smocza Jama cave, which is hollowed by the water drilling the limestones.
Lunch
afternoon Walk to the Krak’s mound from where it possible to see the “Liban” quarry in the area of former Plaszow cancentration camp. In “Liban” Jewish people were working during the 2nd world war, moreover this quarry was used as a scenography to “Schindler’s List” by Steven Spilberg.
evening Dinner
3rd day
morning Heading from Krakow to the Salt Mine in Wieliczka – the UNESCO world heritage. Visiting the salt mine.
Lunch
afternoon Drive to Zakopane. Check-in in the youth hostel.
Polish evening in Zakopane – dinner in the tavern.
4th day
morning Whole day trip to the Koscieliska valley - where the stromatolit limestones are visible - with entering the Mrozna cave. In Ornak shelter – longer break for eating a packed lunch.
evening Warm meal in the hostel
5th day
morning Heading to Zabrze and visiting the Guido coal mine. Excavations on the level 320 metres below the ground are preserved in order to resemble as much as possible the initial ones when the miners finished their work for the last time and left the mine.
Lunch
Drive to Tarnowskie Gory, where the group will visit the silver mine with the boat.
evening Check-in in the hostel and dinner.
6th day
morning Tour to Ojcow National Park. Visiting the Pradnik valley, where the karst processes are being preserved. Visiting the Pieskowa Skala castle.
Lunch
Transfer to the airport.
