Following the traces of Chopin - 200th anniversary of his birth
1 day: Krakow
Morning: Arrival in Krakow. Transfer from Balice airport to the hotel and check-in.
afternoon: Visit to Krakow: Market Square, St. Mary's Church, City Hall, Florian Gate, the Jagiellonian University. Then free time.
evening: Dinner in one of Krakow's restaurants.
2 day: Krakow
Breakfast.
Morning: Visit to the Wawel Hill, Royal Castle, Wawel Cathedral.
afternoon: visit to Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the oldest and largest salt mine in Europe, inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Krakow.
evening: dinner in one of Krakow's restaurants and classical music concert at the Krakow Opera.
3 day: Krakow - Częstochowa - Warszawa
Breakfast.
Transfer from Krakow to Czestochowa. Visiting the Pauline Monastery - the most important pilgrimage place for catholics in Poland. Then travel to Warsaw. Hotel check-in.
Dinner in the restaurant.
4 day: Warsaw
Breakfast
Morning tour of Warsaw "Fryderyk Chopin and his times." A visit to the Chopin Museum in the Ostrogskich Palace; exhibition "Chopin in Poland."
afternoon: Visiting the Holy Cross Church where is Chopin’s heart, the Church of Holy Trinity where Chopin sang in the choir, Lazienki Palace with the statue of Chopin, the Cathedral and the Old Town in Warsaw
evening: dinner in one of Warsaw's restaurants and a piano concert of music composed by Fryderyk Chopin in the Palace on the Water.
5 day: Warsaw - Zelazowa Wola - Sanniki - Torun
Breakfast.
Drive to Zelazowa Wola - the birthplace of Frederic Chopin. Visit to the Museum and participating in the Chopin’s music concert.
Transfer to Sanniki, where is located the park and palace complex name of Frederic Chopin. Visit to the Chopin Memorial Center, with the possibility to see the exhibition about his life.
Drive to Torun. Check-in hotel. Dinner in the restaurant
6 day: Toruń - Szafarnia - Gdansk
Breakfast
Morning: tour of the Old Town inscribed in the UNESCO List. Then drive to Gdansk. A drop to Szafarnia where Chopin spent his time during the holidays. Visiting the Chopin’s Center.
afternoon: Continue to Gdansk.
evening: Check-in the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant.
7 day: Gdańsk
Breakfast.
morning: Sightseeing of Gdansk. The program includes: tour of the City Hall, the Fish Market, Old Harbour, the Arthus Court, St Mary's Basilica, Fountain of Neptune, Long Market.
afternoon: free time.
evening: dinner in one of Gdansk's restaurant.
8 day: Gdańsk
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport in Gdansk or in Warsaw.
