Krakow - Zakopane
This tour combined with visits gives the opportunity to sing in famous places, in Wieliczka Salt Mine and in the Basilica in Wadowice where the Polish Pope John-Paul II was baptized.
1st day
Arrival in Krakow. Transfer from the airport and check-in at the hotel.

2nd day Krakow
Breakfast in a hotel.
9.00 A city sightseeing tour of Krakow. The program includes: one of the most beautiful squares in Europe (Rynek Glowny), the Cloth Hall, the museum of the Jagiellonian University, St. Mary’s Cathedral with the famous Wit Stwosz Altar, Franciszkanska Street and the Royal Route. /walking tour of about 4 hours/
Lunch individually.
14.30 Tour of Wawel Castle - the former royal residence of Poland from the 11th Century with its cathedral, the coronation church of the kings of Poland, which contains the tombs of the kings and their families and also of great poets and national heroes. /walking tour of about 2 hours/
The concert in the church of Saints Peter and Paul.
Dinner in a restaurant in the city.
3rd day Kazimierz – Wieliczka Salt Mine
Breakfast in a hotel.
9.00 Short visit to Kazimierz- the best preserved former Jewish district. /walking tour of about 3 hours/. Free time.

15.00 A visit to the Wieliczka Salt Mine - The historic Salt Mine in Wieliczka is the only site in the world where mining has continued since the Middle Ages. Lying on nine levels, its original excavations (longitudinals, traverses, chambers, lakes, as well as lesser and major shafts) stretch for a total of 300 kilometres: reaching the depth of 327 metres they illustrate all the stages of the development of mining technology over the years./2-hours walk underground/.
The concert in the underground chapel of the Blessed St. Kinga - the largest underground chapel in the world.
evening Dinner with klezmer music in a Jewish restaurant in the Kazimierz district.
4th day Krakow – Wadowice – Kalwaria - Zakopane

10.00 Drive to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska – often called Polish Jerusalem. The 17th century baroque church contains the famous miraculous picture of Our Lady of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. The so-called Calvary paths lined with shrines, chapels and small churches are picturesquely set up on hills and in the stream valley. The most important processions are held during Holy Week (Easter) and on Our Lady's Assumption Day. It was recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage site in 1999.
13.00 Lunch individually.
15.00 Continue to Wadowice – the birthplace of John Paul II. Visit to the basilica and His house. The concert in the Basilica, where in the Chapel of the Holy Family Karol Wojtyla was baptized on May 20, 1920.
Drive to Zakopane.
19.00 Dinner at the hotel
5th day Zakopane
Buffet breakfast.
morning Walking tour of Zakopane with its famous Krupowki Street and then going by funicular to Gubalowka Hill offering beautiful panorama of the whole Tatras. Walk through Gubalowka Range to Butorowy Wierch Hill. Return to Zakopane city centre.

6th day Zakopane
Breakfast in a hotel.
morning Excursion to the Pieniny Mountains. Rafting down the Dunajec River Gorge which goes through the Pieninski National Park. The Dunajec River, which is a tributary of the Vistula River, has incised a narrow and sharply winding gorge through the rocks. The park is rich in rare fauna and flora.
Lunch individually in Szczawnica – the small health resort with mineral springs. Free time for tasting waters.
The next stop is the fascinating, old wooden Gothic church in Debno Podhalanskie. Built in the 15th century, it is claimed to be the oldest surviving wooden church in Europe. The interior is richly decorated by local artists of the period.

7th day Zakopane – Krakow airport
Buffet breakfast and transfer from Zakopane to airport Balice in Krakow.
