Polish Music Concerts
Marco der Pole tour-operator, in co-operation with the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow is happy to inform about its new initiative -chamber music concerts of the best Polish and European composers.
We wish to provide the opportunity for the visitors to Krakow to experience Polish Classical music - therefore the repertoire of our concerts comprises works of Polish composers including F.Chopin, K. Szymanowski,, S.Moniuszko, W.Lutosławski, completed with European composers like J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, J.Brahms, L. van Beethoven.
As we mean this to be a highest standard cultural experience, we have also taken utmost care choosing the accompanying aspects of the concerts.
The venue we chose is one of the most beautiful rooms in Krakow, the Baroque Fontana's Room of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow at Krzysztofory Palace, It is one of the most attractive interiors available - often used for official meetings purposes by the local authorities.
The musicians we chose to perform at our concerts are the artists from such orchestras as Capella Cracoviensis or Krakow Philharmonics.
During the intermission a glass of wine and short sightseeing of the Museum with an English speaking guide is provided.
We hope to make this an extraordinary experience for our guests - a real Convivium Musicum Cracoviense.

Concert beginning time: 19:00
Entry to the Fontana's room from 18.30
Duration: about 1,5 - 2 h /including concert and intermission/
Venue: Baltazara Fontana's Room of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow, Rynek Główny 35
Maximum number of participants of one concert: 100
Repertoire: classical Polish and European music.
Extras: a glass of wine served by hostesses and short sightseeing of the Museum with an English speaking guide
Concerts are organized on request for groups.
